The various Alumni Associations spread throughout the world currently have 160,000 members, and its purpose is to deepen mutual friendship among members, promote their social activities, improve their welfare, and contribute to the development of Tokyo University of Agriculture.

The Alumni Association is organized with chapters in 47 prefectures throughout Japan, and overseas branches in 11 countries: Taiwan, Korea, Brazil, Argentina, the United States, Paraguay, Thailand, Canada, Mexico, the Philippines, and China.

One of the benefits of TUA is the support received from the alumni members of the overseas chapters in Brazil and Mexico for the agricultural internships and programs for exchange students.

The Nodaikai serves as a vital link between past and present students, fostering a lifelong connection to the university. By engaging with this extensive network, alumni can leverage the collective knowledge and resources of their peers, ensuring continuous personal and professional growth. Whether seeking career advice, mentorship, or collaboration on research and projects, members find a supportive community eager to help them succeed.

As such,, the Alumni Association plays a crucial role in maintaining the university’s legacy. Through various events, workshops, and reunions, alumni not only reconnect with old friends but also contribute to the current students’ experience, offering guidance and sharing their expertise. This dynamic exchange ensures that the values and traditions of TUA are passed on to future generations, enriching the university’s global reputation.

By actively participating in the Alumni Association, members also have the opportunity to give back to their alma mater. Their contributions, whether through volunteering, donations, or supporting university initiatives, help TUA to continue offering cutting-edge education and research opportunities. In turn, this strengthens the university’s impact on society, ensuring that it remains a leader in the field of agriculture.
